About the Institution

Role Overview & Scope

The Payables, Fixed Assets & Procurement Accountant will manage vendor accounts payable workflows, maintain fixed asset registers, oversee asset depreciation schedules, and align accounting records with procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable: Verify supplier invoices, perform vendor reconciliations, and process timely payments.
• Fixed Asset Accounting: Register new fixed assets, track asset movements, compute depreciation, and assist with periodic asset audits.
• Procurement Reconciliation: Reconcile purchase orders, goods received notes (GRNs), and supplier accounts with accounting records.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Accounting/Finance option) or related field.
• Professional Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) or equivalent certification.
• Experience: Accounting experience in payables management, fixed asset tracking, and procurement financial control.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12
