We are offering one PhD research project on "Innovative development and application techniques of microbial biopesticides for sustainable management of red palm weevil Rhynchophorus ferrugineus" as part of the African Regional Postgraduate Programme in Insect Science (ARPIS).

Applicants must:

  • Hold a Master's degree (within the last 5 years) in Microbiology, Entomology, Applied Biology, Agricultural Science, Crop Protection, or a related field.
  • Have at least Second Class Upper Division (or equivalent) in both Bachelor's and Master's degrees.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and spoken Arabic and English.
  • University staff or candidates for academic/research positions are encouraged to apply.
  • Women, applicants from underrepresented regions, and persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
