Pharmaceutical Technician (2 Positions)

Role Summary

The Pharmaceutical Technician will support pharmaceutical services by dispensing medications, maintaining inventory, and promoting the safe and effective use of medicines under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions.
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, dosage, and storage.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and stock records.
• Monitor medicine expiry dates and storage conditions.
• Support procurement and ordering of pharmaceutical supplies.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate dispensing records and documentation.
• Promote rational use of medicines and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology or related field.
• Valid registration and practicing license from the relevant Pharmacy Council or regulatory authority.
• Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare facility is an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, customer service, and communication skills.
