DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Medication Dispensing
- Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications in accordance with medical prescriptions.
- Provide clear instructions to patients on dosage, administration, and possible side effects.
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical dispensing standards and guidelines.
Inventory and Drug Management
- Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels of pharmaceutical products.
- Track expiry dates and ensure proper storage of medications.
- Record and manage drug inventory and stock movements.
Customer and Patient Support
- Provide professional guidance on medication use to patients and customers.
- Address customer inquiries regarding pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure a high level of customer service and patient care.
Regulatory Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure all pharmaceutical practices comply with Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) regulations.
- Maintain accurate dispensing records and documentation.
- Support inspections and audits where required.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting.
- Must be registered and licensed by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).

- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, dosages, and dispensing practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
