Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, interpret, and dispense prescriptions accurately and safely.
  • Provide appropriate patient counseling on medication use and adherence.
  • Maintain proper pharmaceutical records and documentation.
  • Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and ensure proper storage of medicines.
  • Participate in stock management, ordering, and stocktaking processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) requirements and hospital policies.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the HOD – Pharmacy.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
  • Must be registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
  • Valid practicing license.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in a hospital or busy pharmacy setting is preferred.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
