We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Technologist to support the safe, effective, and efficient dispensing and management of medicines. The successful candidate will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality pharmaceutical services and optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and established procedures.
  • Manage the storage, handling, and inventory of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
  • Maintain accurate dispensing, stock, and patient medication records.
  • Monitor stock levels and support procurement to ensure continuous availability of medicines.
  • Provide patients with appropriate medication instructions and counseling under the supervision of a pharmacist where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, safety standards, and hospital policies.
  • Participate in quality assurance, stock audits, and inventory management activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy department.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
  • Registered and licensed by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
  • Valid practicing license.
  • Experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting will be an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, inventory management, and medication safety.
  • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB)
  • Registered and licensed by the Medical Board
  • Diploma/BSN in Nursing
  • 5+ years experience
  • Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology
  • Registered and licensed by the PPB
