BUNGOMA CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL INVITES APPLICATIONS for the following positions.

We seek qualified, dedicated professionals to join our team in delivering exceptional pediatric care.

Pharmacist

Manages the pharmacy department and ensures safe, effective pharmaceutical care for pediatric patients.

  • Dispensing and Quality Assurance: Accurately dispense prescription medications, ensuring correct dosages and providing clear instructions to patients and caregivers.
  • Clinical Advice: Provide drug information and counseling to patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals on pediatric medication use, side effects, and interactions.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the hospital pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceuticals to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages.
  • Compounding: Prepare specialized pediatric formulations (e.g., liquid suspensions, oral syrups) as required.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all pharmaceutical activities comply with relevant regulations and hospital policies, maintaining accurate records for controlled substances.
