Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Physics across Senior School (Year 7-13), including IGCSE and A-Level.
  • Deliver engaging lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities.
  • Contribute to departmental planning and development.
  • Participate in co-curricular activities and school events.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student learning.
    • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
    • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
    • Stay updated with advancements in Physics education and incorporate relevant content into lessons.
    • Mentor and support students in academic and personal development.
    • Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school committees as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physics (BSc/B.Ed. Physics) or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification and TSC registration.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching the British Curriculum.
  • Preferred Skills and Attributes:
    • Strong classroom management skills.
    • Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Passion for teaching and inspiring students.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
    • Commitment to continuous professional development.
