We need a Physics specialist to help a Form Four student master core topics (Mechanics, Electricity, Magnetism, Waves, Optics, Nuclear Physics) and tackle KCSE practical questions effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach the entire Form Four Physics syllabus with emphasis on high-weightage topics.
  • Conduct practical diagram-based sessions (circuits, ray diagrams, machines).
  • Demonstrate step-by-step solutions to numerical problems (work, energy, power, current, resistance, etc.).
  • Review past KCSE practical papers and theory Paper 1 & 2.
  • Provide formula sheets, mnemonics, and logical reasoning methods.
  • Mark assignments and give constructive feedback.
  • Build student’s speed in multiple-choice and structured questions.

Requirements

  • B.Ed. (Physics) or B.Sc. (Physics) with PGDE.
  • Experience tutoring KCSE Physics (minimum 2 years).
  • Familiarity with KNEC practical expectations.
  • Ability to improvise simple experiments/visuals.
  • Strong communication and motivational skills.
