We are seeking a qualified, passionate, and dedicated teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality, learner-centred instruction, supporting students' academic and personal development, and contributing to the overall success of the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in the assigned subject(s).
  • Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
  • Assess and monitor learners' academic progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide remedial support to learners who require additional assistance.
  • Maintain effective classroom discipline and create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
  • Prepare learners adequately for internal and national examinations.
  • Provide academic guidance, mentorship, and pastoral support to learners.
  • Participate in co-curricular activities, school events, meetings, and departmental programmes.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, school management, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Use appropriate teaching methods and learning technologies to improve student engagement.
  • Uphold the school's policies, professional standards, safeguarding requirements, and code of conduct.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of teaching and learning within the school.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Education from a recognized institution.
  • Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and hold a valid TSC registration certificate.
  • Relevant subject combination/specialization.
  • Good classroom management and assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous teaching experience is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in lesson planning, record keeping, and use of digital learning tools.
  • Commitment to learners' academic, social, and personal development.
  • Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
