Juja Preparatory School is seeking to hire a qualified and experienced Physics and Mathematics Teacher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in both subjects to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to the overall academic development of the students.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for Physics and Mathematics.
  • Deliver effective instruction to students, catering to diverse learning needs.
  • Assess student progress through various methods, including tests, quizzes, and assignments.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development.
  • Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student success.
  • Participate in school activities and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
  • A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCSE, Diploma in Education) is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching Physics and Mathematics at the secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of the relevant curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Registered with the relevant professional body (e.g., TSC in Kenya) is an added advantage.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Physics and Mathematics.
