Job Purpose

To provide high-quality physiotherapy services through comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment aimed at restoring function, relieving pain, preventing disability, and improving patients overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Administer physiotherapy interventions including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and mobility training.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation, prevention, and home-based care programs.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records.
  • Ensure adherence to infection prevention, safety, and professional standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and continuity of care.
  • Maintain physiotherapy equipment and ensure proper utilization.
  • Participate in departmental initiatives, quality improvement programs, and continuous professional development.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution
  • Minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience in a busy healthcare setting.
  • Registered with the Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK)
  • Valid practicing license
