JOB DETAILS:

Background

The Placement Officer role at Riziki Source involves supporting youth with disabilities to secure jobs, internships, and apprenticeships.

Responsibilities

• identifying and recruiting job-ready youth with disabilities
• conducting basic assessments of candidates’ skills and interests
• helping candidates with CV writing and interview preparation
• matching candidates with suitable job openings
• coordinating interviews and communications with employers
• tracking all placements and maintaining records
• providing follow-up and retention support — offering guidance to placed candidates, identifying any early challenges and offering support, maintaining regular contact with the employers and placed candidates, and developing alumni activities for participants to support others and enrich the program
• monitoring and reporting: maintaining updated records and preparing monthly and quarterly progress reports

Qualifications

• a diploma or degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Psychology, Education or a related field
• at least 3 years of experience in job placement, HR or youth-oriented programmes
• strong communication and organisational skills
• a passion for supporting youth and persons with disabilities

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: bachelor degree
