We develop & prescribe HR curricula, manage professional examinations & certify qualified candidates.
Responsibilities or duties,
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer.
Duties and responsibilities will entail:
- Writing and submitting reports on specific assignments;
- Providing economic planning data;
- Compiling performance contract reports from the departments and keeping records on performance contract targets;
- Implementing strategic plan;
- Researching on topical areas as may be directed within the department;
- Facilitating all Departments to have their departmental work plans and monitoring their implementation;
- Outlining critical considerations in formulation of programmes, policies and strategies;
- Harmonizing various Board operational programmes and monitor their effectiveness and implementation;
- Monitoring budget performance and preparing reports;
- Proposing ways to overcome challenges in coordinating the performance contracting process, guidelines and procedures;
- Determining project viability and justifying project priorities; and
- Analyzing and presenting statistical data in the form of survey reports and bulletins.
- Implementing policy on matters related to Quality Assurance and Accreditation
- Creating database for accredited institutions;
- Conducting institutional accreditation;
- Preparing data collection tools; and
- Conducting periodic review of accreditation benchmarks
- Assisting in Resource Mobilization

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Certificate in computer applications; and
- Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution
