JOB DETAILS:
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the broadcast signal to ensure we always remain on air.
- Assist in creating playlists and packaging shows in a timely manner.
- Manage and verify content before it airs to ensure it is broadcast worthy.
- Upload and catalogue in-house aired TV shows on YouTube and Vimeo, and ensure content is correctly backed up on the server.
- Ensure there is always adequate power and fuel for generators.
- Maintain broadcast equipment and troubleshoot technical issues, including during live broadcasts.
- Schedule advertisements, logs, and mentions accurately as shared by the promotions team.
- Submit daily reports on tasks handled and equipment status to the General Manager.
- Report any work-related or technical issues promptly to the General Manager.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Telecommunication Engineering.
- Previous experience with playout automation systems and broadcasting technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues under pressure and during live broadcasts.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle live broadcast challenges.
