Role Overview
The Playlist Management & Acquisition Person is responsible for the end-to-end management of broadcast content across Linear TV and Connected TV (CTV) platforms. The role ensures seamless scheduling, content readiness, compliance, and strategic acquisition aligned with audience demand, brand positioning, and revenue objectives.
Their key responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage daily, weekly, and long-term playlists for Linear TV and CTV platforms
- Optimize scheduling for peak viewing times and audience engagement
- Coordinate live events, special programming, and breaking content adjustments
- Preview all acquired and locally produced content prior to airing
- Ensure editorial quality, technical standards, and compliance with broadcast regulations
- Create, update, and maintain accurate EPG listings for all platforms
- Ensure consistency of program metadata, descriptions, and scheduling information
- Adapt broadcast content for CTV and on-demand platforms
- Track ratings, audience data, and content performance
Qualifications
- Degree / Diploma in Media, Communications, Broadcast, or related field
- 3–5 years experience in TV scheduling, programming, or content acquisition
- Strong understanding of Linear TV and CTV ecosystems
- Experience with broadcast scheduling systems and EPG tools
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail
- Content judgment & audience understanding
- Strong coordination & communication skills
