PLUMBER

Job Purpose

The Plumber will install, maintain, and repair water supply, drainage, sanitation, and related plumbing systems in construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Install water supply and drainage pipework.
• Install sanitary fixtures, taps, sinks, toilets, showers, and related fittings.
• Read and interpret plumbing drawings and specifications.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and proper operation.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing faults.
• Install and maintain drainage and waste-water systems.
• Coordinate plumbing works with other construction teams.
• Ensure pipework is properly aligned, supported, and installed.
• Maintain plumbing tools and equipment.
• Follow applicable plumbing, health, and safety standards.
• Report material requirements and technical issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills

• Relevant plumbing qualification or practical training.
• Previous construction plumbing experience is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of plumbing systems and materials.
• Ability to read basic plumbing drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and practical skills.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
