Responsibilities or duties
The Power & Controls Technician will be responsible for the assembly, wiring, testing, and fault-finding of electrical switchboards and control panels. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and production teams to ensure all products meet technical specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of power distribution systems and control circuitry
Proven experience in panel wiring, termination, and testing
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
Experience with PLC wiring and control systems (basic programming knowledge is an added advantage)
Sound understanding of electrical safety standards and workshop best practices
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Experience needed
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role

Level of Education: associate degree
