Background

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) is a state corporation established under the Universities Act, 2012. Its mandate is to coordinate the placement of candidates to universities and colleges, as well as career guidance.

Job Purpose

Coordinate matters relating to efficient mobilization and utilization of financial resources.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate budgets, statutory submissions, work plans; supervise risk management, performance systems, governance principles, and staff mentoring.

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Management, Business Administration (Accounting/Finance) or equivalent.

Professional Qualifications

  • CPA(K).
  • Member of ICPAK in good standing.
  • Management course (≥4 weeks).
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Fulfill Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Experience

9 years relevant experience, 3 at Senior Accountant level or comparable.
