Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA) is a state corporation established under the Kenya Maritime Authority Act, 2006. Its mandate is to develop and regulate the maritime industry in Kenya.
Responsibilities or duties
The Principal Auditor (Systems & Forensic Audit) will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on audits of information systems and conducting forensic investigations.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Candidates should possess a relevant degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Auditing, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable. Strong knowledge of IT audit frameworks, cybersecurity principles, and forensic investigation techniques is required.
Experience needed
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in IT auditing and/or forensic accounting is required. Experience in the public sector or a regulatory environment is an added advantage.
