Job Summary
The Principal ICT Officer provides strategic leadership in managing the organization's information technology infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives. The role ensures reliable ICT services that support organizational operations and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
ICT Strategy & Operations
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of ICT systems and infrastructure.
- Develop ICT policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ensure network availability, system security, and data integrity.
- Lead ICT projects, system upgrades, and technology initiatives.
Team Leadership
- Supervise ICT personnel and allocate work assignments.
- Provide technical guidance and staff development.
- Coordinate vendor relationships and ICT service providers.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with ICT security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare ICT performance reports and recommend system improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience
- Relevant experience in ICT, including supervisory responsibilities.
