Requirements for Appointment:

Cumulative service period of nine (9) years relevant work experience three (3) of which should have been in the grade of Senior Librarian or comparable position;

Bachelor’s Degree in Library Studies or Information Science or equivalent qualification from a recognised Institution;

Certificate in Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognised institution;

Proficiency in computer applications;

Been Registered by the relevant professional body; and

Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

Level of Education: bachelor degree
