JOB DETAILS:
The engineering counterpart to the nautical surveyor, this role focuses on the technical aspects of maritime engineering education and institutional audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review syllabi, training materials, and engineering simulator operations in training academies.
- Monitor academic performance and graduate competence indicators.
- Certify maritime engineering program compliance with STCW Code Section A-III.
- Assist in international technical audits on Kenya’s maritime training institutions.
