Job summary
We are seeking a strategic and highly organized Procurement & Logistics Manager to lead our supply chain operations. In the fast-paced Advertising and Media sector, timing is everything. Successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials (from print media to digital hardware)
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing: Identify and vet reliable suppliers for media equipment, production materials, and specialized services.
Cost Optimization: Lead high-level negotiations to ensure the company receives maximum value without compromising on quality or deadlines.
Logistics & Distribution: Coordinate the movement of campaign materials across various regions, ensuring 100% on-time delivery for client launches.
Vendor Management: Maintain a robust database of preferred vendors and conduct regular performance audits.
Contract Management: Oversee the legal and financial aspects of procurement contracts, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
Inventory Control: Implement systems to track assets and consumables, reducing waste and preventing stock-outs.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration. A professional certification (CIPS or KISM) is highly desirable.
Experience: * 7+ years of progressive experience in procurement and logistics.
Industry Preference: Previous experience in Advertising, Media, or a fast-paced Service Industry is a significant advantage.
Leadership: Proven track record of managing a team and handling budgets exceeding KES 10M monthly.
Location: Must be familiar with the Nairobi business landscape, particularly the Westlands/Parklands logistics corridor.

Agility: Ability to thrive in an industry where "urgent" is the standard.
Negotiation: A "tough but fair" approach to vendor relations to protect company margins.
Analytical Thinking: Proficiency in ERP software and data-driven decision-making.
