Job Summary;

  • Reporting to the Director of Finance and Strategy, the Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, sourcing high-quality goods and services at competitive prices, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations. The role holder will manage vendor relationships, ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements, and drive cost savings while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and service delivery.

Minimum job requirements:

For appointment to this position, one must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field. 
  • A Master’s degree or relevant professional qualification (CIPS, CPSP-K or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
  • At least 7 years’ relevant experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or senior supervisory role.
  • Experience working in a reputable organization, preferably in the automotive, fleet management, or service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act (PPADA) and other relevant Kenyan procurement regulations.
  • Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost optimization.
  • ICT savvy with excellent working knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Navision, or similar)
  • High level of integrity, negotiation skills, and attention to detail.
