Background
Orthomedics & Pharmaceuticals Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team on a one (1) year renewable contract based on performance.
Responsibilities
The Procurement Manager will oversee company-wide sourcing, supplier negotiations, and inventory management. Key duties include monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, managing import clearances, and ensuring regulatory compliance (KRA/PPB). The role also involves facilitating a procurement committee, managing utilities, ensuring seamless branch operations, maintaining accountability for stock integrity, and providing transparent reporting to management.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree or masters in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Registered Member with Kenya Institute of Supplies Management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
- Budgeting and financial analysis skills.
- Familiarity with vendor management software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in similar industry preferred with knowledge of orthopaedic implants, splints, rehabilitation products, pharmaceuticals and non pharmaceuticals.
