Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement plans, including supplier sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze expenditure and implement cost-control strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Manage the tendering process, including prequalification, RFP preparation, evaluation, and contract award.
  • Supervise and support the procurement team to ensure efficiency and adherence to best practices.
  • Utilize ERP and e-procurement systems for inventory tracking, reporting, and decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in procurement, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Master's degree in a related field is an added advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP and procurement systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of integrity and understanding of ethical procurement practices.
