MYDAWA is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer with a strong pharmaceutical/pharm-tech background and purchasing expertise to join the Growth team. The successful candidate will oversee pharmaceutical procurement operations, supplier management, purchasing, forecasting, and tender processes while ensuring stock availability, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

• Source pharmaceutical products aligned with the internal formulary, customer needs, and market trends.
• Maintain optimal stock availability and manage inventory performance within assigned categories.
• Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and enforcement of supplier SLAs.
• Support purchasing activities and ensure efficient procurement operations across pharmaceutical categories.
• Oversee tendering processes including supplier evaluation, negotiations, contracting, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with PPB regulations and internal quality standards.
• Monitor sales trends, inventory movement, stock audits, reorder levels, and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to drive promotions and category growth.
• Manage supplier relationships and act as the key point of contact for pharmaceutical suppliers.
• Prepare procurement reports, forecasting insights, and supplier performance reviews.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, or a related field.
• 2-3 years' experience in pharmaceutical procurement or purchasing operations.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical procurement and inventory management.
• Experience in supplier relationship management and tendering processes.
