JOB DETAILS:
Our client in the hardware industry is looking to hire a Procurement Officer.
Location: Kitengela
Key Duties
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring hardware materials, fittings, and tools. This role involves negotiating prices and maintaining strong supplier relationships, preparing purchase orders, and keeping accurate procurement records. Additionally, the officer will monitor stock levels, coordinate timely replenishment with the store team, and ensure quality checks for all received materials.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a Diploma/Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field. Experience in hardware or construction materials procurement is an added advantage. Strong negotiation, communication, and record-keeping skills are essential. High integrity and attention to detail are also required.
