Role Overview & Scope

The Procurement Trainee will support the purchasing and inventory control team with daily procurement operations, vendor communication, goods receiving, stock recording, and store management within the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Goods Receiving & Inspection: Assist in inspecting delivered food, beverage, and hotel supplies against purchase orders and quality standards.
• Inventory & Store Management: Maintain accurate store logbooks, update stock registers, and participate in periodic stock-taking exercises.
• Vendor & Order Tracking: Support communication with key suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Procurement Documentation: Prepare purchase requisitions, local purchase orders (LPOs), and goods received notes (GRNs).

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• Core Competencies: Strong organizational aptitude, attention to detail, basic storekeeping knowledge, and a strong desire to learn hospitality procurement operations.
