Background
The role holder is responsible for developing and transforming Digital product design process. The resource shall create innovative products that meet the customers’ needs and preferences. He/she shall coordinate the design, development, and enhancement of new and existing Digital products.
Key Responsibilities;
- Provide direction and guidance to product design teams to meet timely deliveries.
- Supervise team on daily basis in product design and development activities.
- Provide design solutions to meet cost-effectiveness and on-time deliveries.
- Validate product designs, identify constraints and provide corrective actions.
- Evaluate the design of new and existing products. It involves conducting thorough analysis and assessment of product specifications.
- Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs.
- Understand and negotiate the needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders.
- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Contribute to product direction conversations, with emphasis on leading the experience vision for the product areas.
- Meets regularly with strategic business partners to review current challenges, uncover root causes, recommend course correction, and implement strategies to support implementation effectiveness based on feedback.
The Person
For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology or Engineering related field (Required).
- Professional Qualifications/Certification in Business Analysis Certification is an added advantage.
- At least 5 years progressive experience in Information Technology (Essential).
- 5 years’ experience in Computer systems and functions knowledge (Essential).
- 5 years’ experience in Business analysis (Essential).
- 3 years' experience in stakeholder Management (Essential).
- 1 year experience in Project Management (Desired).
