Responsibilities
1. Lead brand and communication strategy
Define and maintain clear brand positioning for Mogo Kenya, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
Own all external communication (visual, written, and digital), ensuring it is on-brand, compliant, and tailored to Kenyan audiences.
Build and execute a PR and communications plan that enhances reputation and supports growth objectives.
Set and track brand health metrics (awareness, consideration, NPS) and translate insights into action.
2. Own product strategy and lifecycle
Lead market and customer research to identify needs, segments, and opportunities, translating insights into a prioritised product roadmap.
Define product value propositions, key features, pricing logic, and go-to-market plans for products such as smartphone financing and boda logbook loans.
Lead cross-functional product launches, ensuring readiness across sales, operations, customer support, and finance.
Monitor product performance (adoption, usage, unit economics, portfolio quality) and iterate based on data.
3. Drive marketing performance and campaigns
Design and execute integrated digital marketing strategies across Meta Ads, Google Ads, SEO, and owned channels to achieve specific lead and sales targets.
Plan, launch, and optimize performance campaigns and tactical promotions with clear KPIs (e.g., cost per lead, cost per acquisition, conversion rates).
Build and manage the content and social media calendar to grow engagement and drive measurable business outcomes, not vanity metrics.
Establish a robust reporting rhythm (weekly/monthly) on marketing performance, insights, and recommended actions.
4. Lead cross-functional commercial initiatives
Partner with Sales to align campaigns and product initiatives with field realities, ensuring lead quality and sales team readiness.
Identify and implement upsell, cross-sell, and bundling initiatives that grow revenue per customer while protecting portfolio quality.
Collaborate with Operations, Risk, and Customer Support to improve funnel efficiency and customer experience across the full lifecycle.
