About the role

Apeiro, a subsidiary of Sirius International Holding, is seeking a Product Owner – AI to define and execute the strategy, roadmap, delivery, and adoption of AI-powered products and capabilities across the organization. The role will drive the implementation of machine learning, generative AI, predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and decision-support solutions while balancing customer value, business objectives, regulatory requirements, and responsible AI principles.

What you'll do

• Define and own the AI product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap aligned to business priorities and digital transformation objectives.
• Identify and prioritize high-value AI use cases across healthcare, operations, and enterprise functions.
• Lead product discovery activities including stakeholder interviews, market research, and opportunity assessments.
• Translate business problems into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable success metrics.
• Partner with Data Science, Engineering, and Design teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Oversee AI model deployment, monitoring, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish and promote responsible AI practices covering privacy, bias mitigation, explainability, and regulatory compliance.
• Track product adoption, model performance, accuracy, ROI, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Communicate roadmap progress, risks, dependencies, and investment recommendations to leadership teams and stakeholders.
• Mentor and support Product Managers and Product Owners contributing to AI initiatives and product delivery.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of Product Management experience with at least 3 years leading AI, Machine Learning, or data-driven products.
• Proven experience delivering Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, Generative AI, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Strong understanding of MLOps practices, model lifecycle management, and AI governance frameworks.
• Experience defining AI product strategy, roadmaps, and success metrics aligned with business objectives.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Experience working within Agile product development environments and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions and product requirements.
• Experience collaborating with Data Science, Engineering, and Design teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities driven by data and customer insights.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, digital health, health technology, or public health innovation is a strong advantage.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with containerized deployments and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes is desirable.
