Job Summary
Our client in the Personal Care Product Manufacturing Industry, is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Production Coordinator to bring a strategic and data-driven approach to its dynamic team. The role is a critical part of the production process, assisting in coordination of various aspects of production to ensure smooth operations and timely production of essential and vegetable oils.
Job Details
Production Planning and Scheduling:
Coordinate various production schedules, liaise with other departments and monitor production for the company.
Raw Material & Inventory Coordination:
Track raw material inventory and intake, ensuring proper storage and compliance.
Team & Workflow Coordination:
Manage teams ensuring collaboration across production teams and the company’s Belgian sister organisation.
Compliance & Quality Interface:
Support quality audits, ensure ongoing compliance and flag production non-conformities.
Process Oversight & Documentation:
Supervise production, maintain accurate records, prepare schedules, and report on production metrics as required.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Agribusiness Management, Food Production Management, Industrial Management or a related field from a recognized institution; and
- At least five (5) years of experience in manufacturing or production operations.
- Demonstrable knowledge of FMCG Production processes, experience in food processing plants and familiarity with oil processing equipment.
