Responsibilities or duties

Develop and modify engineering designs using SolidWorks.

Prepare and interpret 2D drawings and 3D models for production.

Support vehicle body, component and assembly production processes.

Develop production methods, layouts, jigs, fixtures and tooling.

Identify and resolve production and design-related challenges.

Work closely with fabrication, welding, assembly and quality teams.

Improve production efficiency, quality and cost-effectiveness.

Ensure designs and production processes meet required engineering and safety standards.

Prepare technical drawings, BOMs and other production documentation.

Qualifications or requirements

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Production, Automotive or Manufacturing Engineering.

Proficiency in SolidWorks is mandatory.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work in a hands-on production environment.

Experience needed

Minimum 2 years' relevant experience, preferably in motor vehicle manufacturing, fabrication, automotive assembly or a related production environment.

Any other provided details

Practical knowledge of fabrication, welding, machining and assembly processes will be an advantage.
