Role Context

This role goes beyond supervision. It requires a professional who understands that production efficiency, food safety compliance, and quality assurance directly impact customer satisfaction, export standards, and business profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily packhouse operations and ensure production targets are consistently met
  • Maintain strict compliance with food safety and quality standards (HACCP, GMP, GlobalG.A.P.)
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor production teams to improve performance and accountability
  • Conduct ongoing quality checks to meet regulatory and customer expectations
  • Optimize material usage, reduce waste, and support cost efficiency
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports
  • Enforce workplace safety and hygiene standards

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Food Science & Technology, Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety systems and production best practices
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word & Excel)

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in food processing, fresh produce, or packhouse supervision
