  • The Program Officer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring Youth Economic Empowerment programs aligned with the Foundation’s Strategic Initiatives. This role requires strong Program Management skills, key stakeholder engagement, and a passion for driving youth-focused positive impacts through private sector-led initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

Program Design & Implementation:

  • Develop, plan, and execute projects that promote youth entrepreneurship, employability, and skills development.

Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain relationships with implementing partners, government agencies, private sector actors, and youth-led organizations.

Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E):

  • Track project performance, outcomes, and impacts; contribute to learning and continuous improvement using M&E tools and data.

Reporting & Communication:

  • Prepare periodic program reports, case studies, and success stories; contribute to internal and external communications.

Budget & Compliance Oversight:

  • Support Program budgeting, manage grants disbursement, and ensure activities adhere to organizational and regulatory standards.

The Person:

  • The ideal candidate must possess the following:

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in development studies, Economics, Business, Social Sciences, or related field (master’s degree is an advantage).
  • 3–5 years of experience in Program Management within the Development or private sector, preferably in Youth or Economic Empowerment Projects.
  • Proven experience in coordinating multi-stakeholder projects and managing partner relationships.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Results Frameworks and reporting systems.
