Under the overall supervision of the Senior Regional WASH Programme Manager and direct supervision of the National Programme Officer, the Programme Associate (WASH) will provide administrative and programmatic support to the implementation and monitoring of WASH related activities. The Programme Associate will support the implementation of the Horn of Africa initiative to enhance, promote and expand disaster risk reduction in water and climate change and to build resilience among cross-border communities across Somalia and Kenya under the DHHR Unit of the IOM Regional Office.
Responsibilities or duties
In particular, the Programme Associate will support coordination of project activities, participate in field monitoring and evaluation of programmes, assist in maintaining tracking systems, achievements across the HoA.
