The Nairobi Women's Hospital is a hospital in Nairobi, Kenya. The hospital was founded in 2001 by Dr. Sam Thenya and is the first of its kind in the East and Central Africa region.

Job Description

We are seeking a results-oriented and professional Programmes Officer to drive fundraising, design, planning and implementation of GVRC programmes. The successful candidate will support resource mobilization, ensure projects are delivered in line with GVRC and partner requirements, coordinate strategic partnerships, and contribute to research, advocacy and capacity building on Gender Based Violence (GBV) related themes. The position requires strong skills in project management, partnership engagement, advocacy and communication, with the ability to work collaboratively with both GVRC and NWH teams. This position is currently in Mombasa Kenya or any other locations as guided by management from time to time.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in in Social Sciences or a related field, with at least 3) years relevant experience in project management, Demonstrated skills in teamwork, building relationships, customer focus, communication, reliability, business acumen and planning. Creativity/initiative, managing performance and results orientation are desirable.
