JOB DETAILS:
Background:
Sightsavers is seeking a Project Driver to ensure the safety of staff and partners during transportation and provide logistical support to project activities.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor vehicle mileage and ensure routine maintenance
- Schedule vehicle examinations and maintenance
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Update monthly mileage records
- Provide timely communications to the program team
Qualifications:
- KCSE qualification
- Driving school training or equivalent
- Valid Class C driver’s license
- Previous professional driving experience preferred
- Computer literate
Experience:
Experience working as a Driver in a previous role, preferably in an international organization, Embassy, or UN system.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: high school
