Key Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination & Support
  • Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring project activities.
  • Support the preparation of work plans, progress reports, and presentations.
  • Coordinate project meetings, take minutes, and track follow-ups.
  • Assist in organizing field visits, stakeholder workshops, and training sessions
  • Administrative & Logistical Support
  • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, reports, and reference materials.
  • Organize and update SCL’s electronic and hard copy filing system.
  • Assist with procurement processes and ensure proper documentation.
  • Support travel logistics for project teams, including booking transport and accommodation.
  • Research & Data Management
  • Gather and compile background information on project sectors and thematic areas.
  • Support data collection, entry, and analysis for project reporting and monitoring.
  • Assist in conducting literature reviews and research for business development.
  • Financial & Budget Tracking
  • Support financial documentation processes, including processing invoices
  • Assist in tracking project expenditures and ensuring adherence to budget guidelines.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Assist in preparing communication materials, reports, and presentations.
  • Support correspondence with partners, clients, and donors.
  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing efforts by documenting lessons learned and best practices.
  • Proposal & Business Development Support
  • Assist in proposal development, including formatting expert CVs and compiling supporting documents.
  • Conduct research on funding opportunities and donor requirements.
  • Support intelligence gathering for business development efforts.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • MSc in various disciplines of agriculture, sciences, engineering, and humanities (finalized or ongoing)
  • Experience in proposal writing for business development.
