PROJECT SALES EXECUTIVE MAIN ROLE IS TO GROW PROJECT BUSINESS BY DEVELOPING AND MANAGING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH ARCHITECTS, QUANTITY SURVEYORS, ENGINEERS, SPECIFIERS, INTERIOR DESIGNERS, PROJECT MANAGEMENT CONSULTANTS, DEVELOPERS, AND CONTRACTORS ACROSS KENYA.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BACHELORS DEGREE IN BUSINESS, MARKETING, CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT, ENGINEERING, ARCHITECTURE, OR A RELATED FIELD.
  • DEMONSTRATED UNDERSTANDING OF KENYAS CONSTRUCTION MARKET, PROCUREMENT PROCESSES, AND TENDERING PRACTICES.
  • STRONG RELATIONSHIP-BUILDING AND STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT SKILLS. EXCELLENT NEGOTIATION, PRESENTATION, AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
  • COMMERCIAL ACUMEN WITH A STRONG FOCUS ON PROFITABILITY AND GROWTH.
  • ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND DELIVER RESULTS IN A COMPETITIVE MARKET.
  • HIGH LEVEL OF INTEGRITY, PROFESSIONALISM, AND ACCOUNTABILITY.

EXPERIENCE

  • AT LEAST 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN PROJECT-BASED OR SPECIFICATION-DRIVEN SALES WITHIN THE PAINT INDUSTRY.
  • HOWEVER THOSE WITH EXPERIENCE IN PROJECT SALES FROM OTHER SECTORS WILL BE CONSIDERED.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • MARKET DEVELOPMENT & BRAND POSITIONING: DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN STRONG PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIPS WITH ARCHITECTS, CONSULTANTS, ENGINEERS, INTERIOR DESIGNERS, DEVELOPERS, AND CONTRACTORS IN KENYA.
  • ENSURE COMPANY PRODUCTS ARE APPROVED IN MAJOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS INCLUDING RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL, INFRASTRUCTURE, AND INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENTS.
  • SALES GROWTH & PROJECT ACQUISITION: IDENTIFY, MAP, AND TRACK SMALL, MEDIUM, LARGE, AND MEGA CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS ACROSS THE COUNTRY.
  • PROJECT COORDINATION & EXECUTION: ACT AS THE PRIMARY POINT OF CONTACT FOR ASSIGNED PROJECTS AND KEY STAKEHOLDERS.
  • MARKET INTELLIGENCE & REPORTING: GATHER MARKET INTELLIGENCE ON COMPETITOR ACTIVITY, PRICING TRENDS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND UPCOMING DEVELOPMENTS WITHIN KENYA.
  • MARKET DEVELOPMENT & BRAND POSITIONING: DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN STRONG PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIPS WITH ARCHITECTS, CONSULTANTS, ENGINEERS, INTERIOR DESIGNERS, DEVELOPERS, AND CONTRACTORS IN KENYA.
  • ENSURE COMPANY PRODUCTS ARE APPROVED IN MAJOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS INCLUDING RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL, INFRASTRUCTURE, AND INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENTS.
