BIDCORO Africa Ltd is a partnership between BIDCO Africa Ltd. and CORO A/S based in Denmark, formed to develop and deliver products specifically to suit the needs of the East African consumer.
We are looking for a self-driven, motivated individual to join our operations team. If you are passionate about projects within the FMCG industry, this is your opportunity to join our team.
The ideal candidate is one who works with minimal supervision, is keen to details, while maintaining deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of co-packers by developing their processes to alogn with our operational strategy
- Support co-packers to meet food safety requirements in terms of audits and accreditations
- Management of operational processes between ourselves and various brand owners
- Oversee successful completion of projections with key focus on regular meetings, implementation reports and accurate closure reports.
- Ensure full traceability is maintained - especially from raw and packaging materials to finished goods
Key Performance Indicators
- Maintenance of a working co-packer relationship.
- High product quality
- Reduction of costs and waste, resulting to increased efficiency
- Efficient production support
- Professional end-to-end coordination with brand owners
- Regulatory compliance
- Effective management and resolution of complaints
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or any related discipline
- Training in Food hygiene and HACCP
- At least two years' working experience as a production/quality assurance supervisor
- Possess strong communication skills-both in written and verbal
