Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of assigned properties (residential/commercial).
  • Collect rent, issue receipts, and manage arrears efficiently.
  • Advertise vacancies, screen tenants, and coordinate leasing agreements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and ensure proper maintenance of properties.
  • Coordinate with service providers (cleaners, security, plumbers, electricians, etc.).
  • Resolve tenant complaints and handle conflict resolution professionally.
  • Maintain financial records, prepare budgets, and report monthly.
  • Ensure compliance with tenancy laws, county regulations, and safety standards.
  • Supervise caretakers, security, and grounds staff

    Requirements

    • Minimum 3 years of property management experience.
    • Age 30 years and above (preferred for maturity and experience).
    • Strong understanding of Nairobi's property laws and rental market.
    • Proficient in property management software or tools (e.g., Excel, rent tracking apps).
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
    • Proven ability to handle multiple properties or units.
    • Certificate or Diploma in Real Estate, Property Management, Business, or related field is an added advantage.
