About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Entry-Level Public Health Officer to support the implementation of public health programs and promote community health and safety. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to build a career in public health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and implementing public health programs and activities.
  • Conduct community health education and awareness campaigns.
  • Support environmental health inspections and compliance monitoring.
  • Collect, analyze, and maintain public health data and records.
  • Prepare reports on health interventions and program outcomes.
  • Participate in disease prevention and health promotion initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, government agencies, and community stakeholders.
  • Assist in organizing health outreach activities and campaigns.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Public Health or Environmental Health (highly preferred).
  • Registration with the relevant professional body is an added advantage.
  • Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good report writing and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
