About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Analyst to help ensure the quality and reliability of She Code Africa products. This role is best suited for individuals who are passionate about empowering women and girls in tech and want to contribute by volunteering. You will play a key role in testing features, identifying issues, and ensuring smooth user experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and inconsistencies
  • Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications
  • Work closely with developers to ensure timely issue resolution
  • Provide feedback on UX/UI improvements from a testing perspective
  • Opportunity to be a facilitator for She Code Africa programs (optional but encouraged)

Requirements

  • Experience with software testing and QA processes
  • Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (Jira, Trello, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Passionate about supporting the growth of women and girls in tech and committed to giving back through volunteering
