Quality Inspectors monitor production processes to ensure products meet standards, involving inspecting materials and finished goods, using measuring tools, documenting findings, and identifying defects to recommend corrective actions.
Product and Material Inspection: Conduct visual inspections and measurements of incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet company specifications and quality standards. Use of Tools and Equipment: Utilize specialized tools and electronic equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to verify product dimensions and specifications. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results, defect reports, and other quality-related data in compliance with company procedures and good documentation practices. Problem Identification: Identify, document, and report any defects, deviations, or non-conformities found during inspections and testing. Corrective Actions: Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and recommend adjustments to the production process to improve overall quality. Process Monitoring: Monitor and ensure that production operations adhere to established standards and quality guidelines. Documentation Review: Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical documents to ensure production compliance. Reporting and Collaboration: Create quality control reports and collaborate with management and other departments on quality matters, including participating in audits and quality system improvements.
Familiary with the quality inspection process. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Certificate/ Diploma in science laboratory technology, Industrial chemistry or it's equivalent. 1-2 years working experience as a QC Inspector
