Role Summary:

Looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Assistant with a background in food science or related field, some experience in quality control, and ability to inspect, test, and document product quality while working effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology, Dairy Technology, or Microbiology with at least 1 year QC experience strongly preferred, OR
• Diploma in Food Science and Technology or Dairy Technology with at least 2 years QC experience strongly preferred

Experience:

• Knowledge of HACCP or other food industry management systems
• Dairy industry experience in a similar role an added advantage

Skills and Attributes:

• Excellent verbal/written communication
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic and team orientation

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ensure products meet quality standards through inspection, testing, and documentation
• Inspect incoming materials and in-process production
• Perform functional/processing suitability testing on products and ingredients
• Record inspection results and non-conformances; create reports for audits, traceability, and corrective actions
