We are a Christian hospice offering the highest quality clinical care and the love and salvation of Jesus Christ. Empyrean Hospice is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to support clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational performance across our healthcare organization. This leadership role partners closely with executive and regional leadership to ensure high standards of care, strong documentation practices, and continuous quality improvement. The Quality Manager plays a key role in supporting regulatory readiness, conducting quality audits, and implementing process improvements that enhance patient care and organizational performance.
Responsibilities or duties
Conduct clinical documentation reviews and quality chart audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Support adherence to Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs) and applicable accreditation standards. Identify operational and documentation improvement opportunities and develop corrective action plans. Assist with survey readiness and accreditation preparation. Provide training and education to staff on quality initiatives and documentation standards. Evaluate operational workflows and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and service delivery. Partner with leadership to implement quality improvement and performance initiatives. Serve as a resource for clinical and operational teams regarding compliance and best practices.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate with leadership and drive operational improvements.
Experience needed
2+ years of home health, hospice, or related healthcare experience. Experience with clinical documentation review, audits, or quality improvement preferred. Knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation and healthcare regulatory standards.
