Key Accountabilities:

  • Analysis of all incoming Raw Materials (Physical & chemical verifications.) This procedure includes sampling, testing, generation of reports & interpretation of results. Talc RM reporting and coordination of external analysis. Analysis & validation of quality of raw materials for Research & Development purposes.
  • Preparation & Standardization of Reagents for in-use.
  • Basic Maintenance & servicing of Lab Equipment.
  • Facilitation of internal & external calibration of critical equipment in the business & maintenance of the register.
  • Perform SAP transactions in the system to facilitate movement of materials from one location to another as need arises.
  • Quarantine and hold defective materials to be returned to the supplier, communicate for the same to be blocked in SAP.
  • Monitoring, tracking & closure of Consumer & Customer complaints.
  • Bill Of Materials coordination and creation support
  • R&D and Competitors benchmarking analysis.
  • Raw and packaging materials and finished good QIP (Quality Inspection Plan) creation and amendment.
  • COA/COC preparations for export finished products after verification that the products conform to set specifications.
  • Assessment of all special samples including samples from R&D & Retention
  • Appraisal of retention samples for shelf-life validation on need basis.
  • Assisting in new packaging developments and Artwork’s verification and communication to suppliers after approvals from all stakeholders as and when needed
  • Support in coordination of planned audits.
  • Ensuring retention samples are availed on shift basis, appropriately recorded and forwarding them to the retention room to ensure traceability.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Chemistry or any Chemistry related Field

Technical/Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 0-3 years in FMCG Company.
  • Experience in SAP-QM & Quality Management System (ISO)
